Gamescom 2024's Opening Night Live (ONL) promises exciting new game reveals and updates on highly anticipated titles, as confirmed by host and producer Geoff Keighley.
Geoff Keighley's recent X (formerly Twitter) post confirmed that the Gamescom ONL will feature announcements of brand new games, alongside updates on previously announced titles and fan favorites.
While Gamescom has already previewed a selection of games including CoD: Black Ops 6, MH Wilds, Civ 7, MARVEL Rivals, Dune Awakening, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the event is expected to unveil completely unannounced titles. The Gamescom 2024 ONL livestream begins August 20 at 11 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. ET on official streaming platforms.
Key highlights include the first gameplay showcase of Don’t Nod’s interactive adventure, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, and a fresh trailer for Warhorse Studios’ Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Furthermore, THQ Nordic will unveil a new game from Tarsier Studios, the creators of the acclaimed Little Nightmares series.
Call of Duty fans can anticipate a major reveal: a live, first-time playthrough of Black Ops 6's campaign. While Nintendo is absent from Gamescom this year, The Pokémon Company will be a significant presence at the event.
