Famous People

Test Your Knowledge: How Well Do You Know the World's Most Famous Historical Figures? Identify them!

This app features 476 of the most recognizable individuals from world history, including kings, queens, politicians, musicians, actors, and film directors. Can you identify the portraits and earn all the stars in every level?

From Alexander the Great to Benjamin Franklin; from Joan of Arc to Fred Astaire; from Louis Armstrong to Winston Churchill.

This is both a history and art quiz. The game is structured into two main difficulty levels.

Level 1 - 123 well-known personalities like Julius Caesar and Alfred Hitchcock.

Level 2 - 122 more challenging figures to identify, such as Blaise Pascal, Igor Sikorsky, and other important philosophers, inventors, and rulers.

Additionally, explore four specialized levels:

1) Writers, featuring William Shakespeare and Leo Tolstoy;

2) Composers, including Johann Sebastian Bach and Leonard Bernstein;

3) Painters like Michelangelo and Georgia O'Keeffe, plus a Painting mode: identify the artist (e.g., for the "Mona Lisa," answer "Leonardo da Vinci").

4) Scientists, such as Isaac Newton and Charles Darwin.

In every level, you can select from multiple game modes:

* Spelling quizzes, available in easy and hard versions.

* Multiple-choice questions with either 4 or 6 answer options. Remember, you only have 3 lives.

* A time-based game: provide as many correct answers as possible within 1 minute. Score over 25 correct answers to earn a star.

Two learning tools are available to explore all the celebrities without playing:

* Flashcards: view brief biographical information for each person with links to their full encyclopedia entry.

* Tables organized for each level.

The application is available in 24 languages, including English, French, Spanish, and German.

You can remove advertisements through an in-app purchase.
