Paramount Pictures has reshuffled its movie schedule, leading to significant delays for two highly anticipated Nickelodeon films: The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem 2. Both projects will now arrive much later than initially planned.

According to Variety, The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender has been pushed back from its original January 30, 2026, release date to October 9, 2026. This marks the second postponement for the sequel to Nickelodeon’s iconic fantasy series, which was originally scheduled for October 10, 2025. Despite the delay, Paramount has unveiled a brand-new logo for the film, which you can view below.

This adjustment pushes the film’s release date back nearly nine months, leaving fans with a longer wait than anticipated. No official reason for the latest delay has been disclosed, but key cast members such as Steven Yeun, Dave Bautista, and Eric Nam remain attached to the project.
