On March 1, NetEase announced via Twitter that new skins for Loki and Storm will be available starting March 13 at 7:00 PM PDT / March 14 at 2:00 AM UTC. These skins, themed around Asgard, include the Presidential Attire for Loki and the Goddess of Thunder for Storm.
Storm's skin showcases her in Asgardian armor wielding a hammer named Stormcaster, reminiscent of Mjolnir. This design harks back to a comic storyline where Storm, after losing her powers, was given the hammer by Loki to control the elements again, albeit as part of his sinister scheme. This marks Storm's first new skin since the game's launch.
Loki's Presidential Attire, initially revealed during the Marvel Rivals' beta test, was one of the first skins players could access for free. Fans have eagerly awaited its release and hope to see other skins from the beta, such as the Spider-Punk costume for Spiderman and the Steampunk-themed costume for Ironman, become available soon.
Marvel Rivals disclosed the patch notes for the upcoming update on their website on March 12, 2025. The update, set to go live on March 13 at 2:00 AM PDT, will be implemented without server downtime, allowing players to jump back into the game immediately after the patch.
This update addresses several issues, including fixes for the voice chat overlay, frame rate affecting sensitivity, and failed sent messages. It also resolves problems with characters clipping into odd areas and includes multiple fixes for various hero skills and abilities.
In addition, Marvel Rivals has released a separate page detailing hero balance adjustments for the upcoming patch. These include a boost to Human Torch's primary attack damage and Ultimate Ability, balanced mid-range offensive capabilities for Ironman, and enhanced healing capabilities for Cloak and Dagger.
NetEase continues to enhance Marvel Rivals with regular updates and additional in-game content, particularly in the realm of cosmetics. Marvel Rivals is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Stay updated with the latest information about Marvel Rivals by clicking on our article below!
