In Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, giving snacks to animals is a delightful and efficient way to boost their friendship levels. As you increase an animal's friendship, you'll earn more experience points towards your Camp Manager Level, making your journey through the game smoother, especially in the early stages. However, snacks are a rare commodity, and the most reliable source is through Gulliver's Ship. Understanding which snacks to give and how many can significantly enhance your gameplay.
Your best bet for acquiring snacks is to utilize Gulliver's Ship and embark on voyages to special islands, particularly the gold islands, where you can collect Villager Maps. Completing all souvenirs from a special island rewards you with a hefty bonus of x20 Gold Treats.
If you've already unlocked all Villager Maps, you'll need to send Gulliver's Ship to whatever island appears on the map. The type of island determines the snacks you'll receive. To get Gold Treats, focus on completing any Isle of Style that shows up on the map, which will net you x3 Gold Treats as a souvenir and another x3 as a completion bonus.
You can view three islands at a time, and you can refresh them by tapping the icon in the upper-right corner of the screen, though you're limited to one free refresh per day.
To set sail with Gulliver's Ship, you'll need cargo. You can craft cargo in your furniture catalog, but some islands require specific furniture. For instance, if you're after modern-themed snacks, head to Exotic Island with a Plain Package, Plain Crate, or exotic-themed furniture like an Exotic Rug.
Islands offer different snacks, and you can preview them by tapping the magnifying glass on the island's icon. Islands that take longer to clear (e.g., 6 hours) typically yield more treats than those that take 4 hours or less. For example, Piano Island is a treasure trove for all types of Tart Snacks (Plain Tart, Tasty Tart, Gourmet Tart).
Snacks in Pocket Camp Complete are divided into two categories: regular and themed. Regular snacks, such as Bronze, Silver, and Gold Treats, are universally liked. Themed snacks, like the Plain Donut, come in three tiers:
Plain-themed snacks offer the least friendship points, while gourmet-themed snacks provide the most. Plain snacks are more readily available from Gulliver's Ship, whereas gourmet snacks are often found on islands that take 6 hours to complete.

Before you offer a snack, always check the animal's theme, as they receive more friendship points when given a treat that matches their theme. Bronze, Silver, and Gold Treats are generic and loved by all animals, with Gold Treats providing the highest friendship points at 25 per treat.
Giving x10 Gold Treats to a level 1 animal can boost them to level 15.
To find out an animal's theme, tap their icon at your campsite or cabin to see the theme icon near their name. If you're interacting with an animal on the map (not at your campsite), you can check their theme through your Contacts or at Pete's Parcel Service.
To give a snack, simply tap the animal on the screen and select "Have a snack!". This option is always highlighted in red, indicating that you'll earn friendship points with each gift.
