Zenless Zone Zero 1.5: Astra Yao's Narrative Short Film

Zenless Zone Zero's latest storyline focuses on the character Astra Yao, giving players a deeper dive into her history. miHoYo (HoYoverse) has released new story content that explores the singer and part-time support agent's past.

The new animated short highlights Astra Yao's involvement in a benefit concert to honor the victims of a major disaster. The video shows a tense interaction with a reporter before shifting the narrative to reveal key, dramatic events from her earlier life.

Astra Yao is featured in the premiere character banner for the Zenless Zone Zero 1.5 update, while Evelyn Chevalier will be available in the subsequent banner. The update is now live, and as usual, miHoYo (HoYoverse) is distributing compensation rewards.

Players can receive a total of 600 Polychromes: 300 for general bug fixes and another 300 for technical work related to the 1.5 update. These rewards will be distributed via in-game mail.

Astra Yao is an S-Rank Agent (Air, Support). Beyond her career as a singer, she excels as a robust support character. Her abilities focus on healing her squad and providing significant damage buffs. By leveraging her skills, teams can activate chain attacks and assist attacks more frequently, significantly increasing their overall damage output.
