The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event offers numerous rewards, but acquiring them presents challenges. One particularly tricky task involves breaking and repairing an object. This guide provides a straightforward solution.

Week 2's challenge requires raising your Sim's Handiness skill to level 2 or higher and then repairing a broken object. The difficulty lies in locating a broken item. Instead of searching, intentionally break an object. While using the "prank" interaction is an option, it requires specific traits. A simpler method is to repeatedly use an inexpensive item until it breaks.

The Ambassador toilet is an affordable choice. Repeated use (around a dozen times) will cause it to malfunction, fulfilling the "broken object" requirement. This can be done by your Sim or invited guests.

Repairing the broken object is simple once your Handiness skill reaches level 2. Select the "Repair" option on the broken item. After a short time, the repair is complete, and the challenge is cleared.
