In Ivy Road and Annapurna Interactive’s *Wanderstop*, players step into the shoes of Alta, an exhausted fighter who seeks solace in running a cozy tea shop nestled within a magical forest. As Alta navigates her journey toward rest and recovery, she encounters a diverse clientele with varied requests, including the surprising demand for coffee, which isn't a standard offering at her tea shop. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to unlock and brew coffee in *Wanderstop*.

During the fourth cycle of *Wanderstop*, a graceful, humanoid bird graces the shop and requests a refined cup of tea. Following her visit, a group of businessmen named Jerry, Larry, and Terry arrive, each clad in suits and ties, and carrying nondescript briefcases. They are en route to a boardroom to deliver a presentation. Despite Alta’s attempt to guide them back on track, they refuse her offer of tea, insisting on coffee. Undeterred by the shop's lack of coffee, they decide to wait until it becomes available.
Boro, the tea shop's owner, informs Alta that coffee has never grown in this enchanted forest, leading to initial frustration for Alta. The situation takes a turn when an interdimensional being named Zenith arrives, fascinated by the businessmen. Unlike them, Zenith is open to trying Alta's tea, marking their first experience with "ingredients brewed with hot water" other than coffee.

To unlock coffee beans, brew a cup of tea for Zenith with a valuable item inside. This item can range from a book, a trinket, a pot, a mug, a small plant, to a photograph. After tasting the unique tea, Zenith becomes curious about the difference between coffee and tea and what is needed to brew coffee for their cherished businessmen. When Alta mentions "coffee beans," Zenith uses the Infinite Path to introduce coffee beans to the forest, enabling them to grow in the clearing for the first time. Instructions for harvesting and brewing these beans are then added to Alta’s Field Guide.
Once Zenith summons them, coffee beans begin to grow wild in the clearing and respawn randomly. Harvesting them is similar to collecting fruits, seeds, or any other objects. You can store them in your ingredients pocket, carry one at a time in your hand, or place them on shelves, tables, floors, or the ground outside.
Before brewing, coffee beans need to be cleaned. Place them in the dishwasher and wait for the dish trains to deliver them to the tea room. To brew coffee, pour water into the tea maker and heat it as required, then activate the gear to pour the water into the infuser. A single bean is sufficient to brew coffee, although customers might request additional beans or other ingredients. After brewing, kick the gear again to pour the coffee into the kettle below, and then decant it into mugs for serving to customers, Boro, or Alta herself.
Introducing coffee not only satisfies the businessmen but also delights Zenith and provides another beverage option for other customers. Even Boro is willing to give it a try, though he admits he's not a fan.
That’s how you unlock, harvest, and brew coffee in *Wanderstop*.
