DC's All In publishing initiative is a groundbreaking project that allows top creators to reimagine DC's most iconic heroes in a universe free from the constraints of established continuity. Spearheaded by industry veterans Scott Snyder and Joshua Williamson, the initiative includes the Absolute Universe, a thrilling new arc following the Absolute Power storyline from late 2024. This ongoing saga presents a fresh status quo for Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, promising to redefine these beloved characters in unexpected ways.

Since its launch in October, the Absolute Universe has expanded across multiple titles, making it challenging to follow the intricate plotlines and character developments. To help fans navigate this exciting new universe, we've compiled a comprehensive guide to the chronology and reading order for DC's Absolute Universe in 2025.

Note: It's important to distinguish between the Absolute Universe titles and DC's "Absolute" collected editions, such as the Absolute Batman: Zero Year omnibus. These are separate entities and should not be confused.

The Reading Order

For the best experience with the ongoing series, start with our recommended reading order, then follow with subsequent issues as they are released. Each main Absolute series is planned for a six-issue run, with future collections in trade paperback format.
