The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event continues its treasure hunt, tasking players with finding various resources. This guide focuses on efficiently locating Platinum and Ironyum, key ingredients for the "Inventing the Past" questline.

Unlocking Platinum and Ironyum is straightforward: it utilizes the same method as finding the Special Time Capsule. Simply locate an area with rocks and dirt mounds (parks are ideal), pause the game to carefully survey the surroundings, and dig! Multiple attempts may be necessary.

Struggling to find dig spots? Speeding up in-game time encourages the generation of more rocks and dirt mounds. However, avoid prolonged periods of accelerated time to prevent missing your opportunity to dig.
