In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, after completing the opening section, you're free to explore the world and take on side quests. One such quest involves finding Vostatek's horse, Pepik, and can reward you handsomely.
Begin your quest by accepting the side quest "Lackey" from Zlata at Gamemaster Vostatek’s home, located west of Tachov. Alternatively, you can start the quest by speaking with Vitek, who is slightly southeast of the house, as indicated by the B on the map above. This sets you on a path northwards, where you'll encounter Vostatek being attacked by wolves.

After rescuing Vostatek from the wolves, he asks you to carry him to his camping spot where he left his horse, Pepik. Follow his directions carefully, keeping an eye on your stamina to ensure you don't drop him.
Upon reaching the camp, you'll discover that Pepik is missing. You'll need to follow the traces Pepik left along the path, examining each clue you find. Continue along the path until you reach a poacher's camp.
As Vostatek suspected, Pepik has been taken by poachers. He's located at the back of their camp. Fortunately, the poachers move around, allowing you to take them on in smaller groups. It's easier to deal with the ones who roam to the edges of the camp first, as they're more likely to beg for mercy before you finish them off. You can bypass the two tougher poachers in the camp's center by quickly mounting Pepik and riding away before they can react. Note that you won't have a chance to rest between finding Vostatek and Pepik, so your health might be affected depending on the outcome of the wolf fight.
Return Pepik to Vostatek’s camp. When you speak with him, you have the option to ride back to his home together, which serves as a fast travel choice. Upon arrival, you'll be rewarded with Groschen and the offer of a place to stay whenever you need it.
Having successfully found Pepik for Vostatek in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, you can now pursue other quests or explore romantic options. Additionally, with the money earned, you can purchase more equipment to enhance your journey.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
