EvoCreo2: Monster Trainer RPG, the eagerly awaited sequel to the popular game EvoCreo, has just hit the Android platform last week. The developers at ilmfinity, renowned for their Monster Adventure Games, have taken to Reddit to address the community's burning questions and provide a glimpse into the future of this exciting title.
Set in the captivating world of Shoru, EvoCreo2 offers players the chance to catch, train, and battle with over 300 unique Creo. The game introduces a compelling narrative where you begin as a recruit at the Shoru Police Academy, tasked with unraveling the mystery behind the disappearance of monsters. As you progress, you'll embark on more than 50 missions, uncover hidden secrets, and face formidable opponents in the competitive battle arena.
The development team has clarified that multiplayer functionality is on the horizon, though it won't be available immediately. Their priority is to iron out any bugs and ensure game balance before introducing this feature. Similarly, both controller support and cloud saves are in the pipeline but not yet implemented.
Many players have been curious about the shiny rates in EvoCreo2. The developers have revealed that regular shinies have a 0.2% chance of appearing, whereas rare shinies boast an even rarer 0.02% chance. Notably, starter Creo cannot be shiny.
When it comes to capturing Creo, lowering their HP and inflicting status conditions can improve your chances. However, rare, high-level, and shiny Creo are inherently more challenging to catch.
Looking forward, the roadmap for EvoCreo2 is clear. The initial months will focus on refining the game. Subsequent updates will introduce cloud saves and controller support, followed by additional story content, and eventually, multiplayer features.
While waiting for these updates, you can dive into EvoCreo2: Monster Trainer RPG, available now on the Google Play Store.
