Fortnite's Next Season: "Wanted" – A Heist-Themed Adventure

Epic Games has unveiled the Battle Pass skins for Fortnite's upcoming season, titled "Wanted." This heist-themed season promises high-octane action, featuring villainous characters, gold-laden vehicles, and explosive bank vaults.

Breaking from tradition, Epic is forgoing the codename and going straight to the official title. The season kicks off February 21st and includes a major crossover with Mortal Kombat.

Sub-Zero, the iconic Mortal Kombat character, will be a featured Battle Pass skin, perfectly complementing the season's heist theme. This collaboration coincides with the marketing push for Mortal Kombat 2, the upcoming film starring Karl Urban and Adeline Rudolph.

Skins will be priced at 1,500 V-Bucks each.

Returning weaponry includes the Flare Gun, C4, and the Diplomat turret. While other weapons are yet to be confirmed, speculation runs rampant, with players hoping for the return of the EMP Grenade, classic SMGs, the Tommy Gun, and even the Grappler, based on the similar heist theme of Chapter 4 Season 4.

A significant addition is the Smart Building mechanic, which anticipates your building needs based on your aiming direction. The heist theme also introduces a gameplay shift, replacing keycards with vault breaches that require Meltanite (a thermite-like substance) to access valuable loot.
