Fortnite Leaks Hint at Mechagodzilla and King Kong Arrival

Rumors are swirling within the Fortnite community, suggesting the imminent arrival of Mechagodzilla and King Kong. A prominent leaker, Hypex, claims Mechagodzilla could debut alongside Godzilla on January 17th, potentially costing 1,800 V-Bucks or appearing as part of a larger bundle. The design is expected to mirror the MonsterVerse iteration. Unlike Godzilla, who will function as a map boss with a collectible medallion, Mechagodzilla is anticipated to be purely cosmetic.

King Kong's potential addition is also circulating, with a speculated price tag of 1,500 V-Bucks (possibly within a bundle). His in-game presence, however, remains unconfirmed. While fan speculation runs wild about a potential King Kong vs. Godzilla showdown, Epic Games has yet to offer any official confirmation.

These monster mash-ups follow a string of successful Fortnite crossovers, including collaborations with Cyberpunk 2077, Star Wars, DC Comics, and Mariah Carey. The current Season 1 battle pass already boasts Baymax and Godzilla collaborations, fueling anticipation for further partnerships. Many players are eagerly awaiting a rumored Demon Slayer crossover, given the game's history of successful anime collaborations (Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, My Hero Academia). The future of Fortnite's collaborations remains excitingly uncertain.
