The Cell Garden is an essential area within your Panopticon in Freedom Wars Remastered. You'll encounter it early in the main storyline, and it serves as a safe haven for resource farming compared to the dangers of operations. Throughout the game, you'll discover multiple Cell Gardens, and the method to find them remains consistent across different levels. Below, you'll learn how to locate any Cell Garden and understand their resource farming mechanics.
Your initial quest to find the Cell Garden comes from Mattias, who wants you to investigate the ghost girl story. To reach the Cell Garden, head to Level 2: 2-A000's main cell block. From your cell, look to the left corner to spot a small room resembling an elevator. Interact with it to be transported to 2-E165, the same area where you encountered Enzo.
Once inside 2-E165, follow the right wall to another small room with a device that will take you to 2-G100. Finally, in 2-G100, the device in the far room will lead you to the Cell Garden.
The route to the Cell Garden is uniform across all levels. Unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement can significantly reduce the travel time. After completing the main quest associated with the Cell Garden, you can access it anytime or visit other Cell Gardens, but consider acquiring a useful Entitlement first.
Each device leading to the next room or the Cell Garden is marked with a blue door icon above it, making navigation straightforward.
The Cell Garden's mechanics differ between the main story mission and regular visits. Here's how it functions outside the story mission:
To enhance your time in the Cell Garden, you can purchase Entitlements from the Window on Liberty. These upgrades allow you to stay longer, which is crucial for navigating more complex layouts. The first upgrade extends your stay to two minutes and becomes available at CODE level 3.
