Google Auto-Launches Apps: New Feature Coming Soon

Google Play Store may soon launch a new feature to automatically open newly downloaded apps. This potential time-saver, gleaned from an APK teardown of Play Store version 41.4.19, is currently unconfirmed by Google.

According to Android Authority, the feature, tentatively named "App Auto Open," will be completely optional. Upon a successful app download, a notification banner will appear for approximately five seconds, possibly accompanied by a sound or vibration, ensuring you won't miss it. This eliminates the need to manually locate and open the app icon.
