In the eerie and challenging world of *R.E.P.O.*, the items you carry can be the difference between advancing to the next level or facing off in the dreaded Disposal Arena. Among these crucial items, Recharge Drones stand out as essential tools for success. Let's dive into how you can obtain and utilize these game-changers effectively.
In *R.E.P.O.*, while some items like Mines and Grenades are one-and-done, others, such as weapons and drones, come with a "battery life" that can be replenished using Energy Crystals. At the start of your journey, you'll notice a container in your truck designed to recharge these items, though it requires an Energy Crystal to operate. When you buy additional Energy Crystals, they're automatically loaded into the container, so don't fret when they vanish post-purchase.
To revive a chargeable item, simply place it in the yellow bucket next to the container, and watch as it regains its vigor. This is invaluable for maintaining your equipment in top shape, ensuring you're ready to face the next wave of horrors. Yet, in the more demanding levels, items can drain quickly, and you might not always have your truck nearby. This is where the Recharge Drone becomes an indispensable ally, allowing you to manage your items' energy on the move.
The Recharge Drone, like all other items and upgrades, becomes available at the Service Station, which you reach after successfully completing a level. Here, you can bolster your arsenal for the upcoming challenges, provided you have the funds. Keep in mind, the items at the Service Station spawn randomly, so it might take several visits before the Recharge Drone appears. Once it does, it's priced between $4-5K and will occupy one of your inventory slots. After purchasing, assign it to slot 1, 2, or 3.
You'll notice your item's battery bar dwindling, signaling it's time for a recharge. To use the Recharge Drone, select it from your inventory, activate it with the 'E' key, and attach your depleted item. Let the drone work its magic! Once the drone's battery runs out, you can recharge it back at your truck using Energy Crystals in the container.
Now armed with the knowledge of how to find and effectively use the Recharge Drone in *R.E.P.O.*, you're better equipped to navigate the game's terrifying landscapes and keep your gear in prime condition.
