Armor is a crucial element in the arsenal of Operators in *Call of Duty* Zombies. For those looking to enhance their armor beyond the standard Tier 3, a new Easter egg on The Tomb in *Black Ops 6* offers the chance to acquire the Gold Armor Vest. Here's how to unlock this game-changing upgrade.
Gold Armor, first introduced in *Modern Warfare 3* Zombies, addresses a common player frustration by automatically repairing armor over time. This feature, carried over to *Black Ops 6*, eliminates the need for constant manual re-plating after taking damage. Even if players don't have armor plates in their inventory, the Gold Armor Vest will self-repair, making it an essential tool for resource management and ensuring you can withstand powerful enemies like Amalgams without going down in one hit.

To obtain the Gold Armor Vest on The Tomb in *Black Ops 6* Zombies, follow these steps:
To initiate the Blood Sacrifices required for the Gold Armor, players must first locate two statue heads in the Dark Aether Nexus. These heads are essential for repairing the ruined Roman statues at the Dig Site.
The statue heads are found within wooden boxes in the Dark Aether Nexus. Players must destroy these boxes using melee attacks to reveal the heads. Once exposed, interact with the box to pick up the head.
The first head is located next to a palm tree in the corner of the Dark Aether Nexus, near the green Gateway portal. The second is easily spotted near the Juggernog Perk Machine on the same raised platform.
After acquiring both heads, return to the Dig Site near The Tomb's initial spawn point. There are two Roman Statues here: one near the Ammo Cache, by the door leading to the Neolithic Catacombs, and the other near the Roman Mausoleum, which houses a Pack-a-Punch machine spawn point. Interact with each statue to place the heads and repair them.
Once the heads are placed, a new UI prompt will appear when approaching the statues, signaling the start of a Blood Sacrifice.
The Blood Sacrifice challenge involves facing at least three powerful HVT versions of Shock Mimics and Doppelghasts. In solo play, three HVTs will spawn, while more will appear in co-op based on the number of players. During the challenge, players are locked at 1 HP, but damage will only affect armor plates, making a Tier 3 vest and extra plates crucial.
To tackle this challenge, solo players can use a Mutant Injection to transform into a damage-resistant Mangler right as the challenge begins. By timing the transformation correctly, players can melee the HVTs to defeat them.
In co-op, one player can activate the challenge from within the Dig Site, while another stays outside to call in a Chopper Gunner. The player inside should train the HVTs to be visible from above, allowing the Chopper Gunner to eliminate them.
After successfully completing both Blood Sacrifices, the Gold Armor Vest becomes available as a free Wall Buy in the Roman Mausoleum.
And that's how to get the Gold Armor on The Tomb in *Black Ops 6* Zombies.
