Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery Drops Its Halloween Update For 2024!

The spooky season has returned to Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery with the launch of the 2024 Halloween update. From October through November, the game immerses players in its Dark Arts celebration, featuring a plethora of eerie events and a festive decor transformation that sets the perfect Halloween mood.

The Halloween atmosphere envelops you the moment you enter Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. Diagon Alley and the castle are adorned with spooky decorations, and new locations have been added to enhance the Halloween experience this year.

In true Hogwarts spirit, a House-themed pumpkin hunt is on the horizon, offering magical rewards leading up to October 31st. Additionally, a Creature Expedition is set to begin, where you'll encounter the terrifying Acromantula up close and personal.

Have you unlocked the Swooping Evil yet? This eerie, brain-eating creature resembling a stingray, first seen in Fantastic Beasts, has now made its way into the game. A Special Adventure featuring the Swooping Evil awaits, as it has somehow infiltrated Hogwarts Castle. It's your mission to assist Hagrid in capturing it before anyone gets hurt.

The new side quest, "The Vampire of Hogsmeade," introduces vampires lurking near Hogwarts. Professor Dumbledore has declared Hogsmeade off-limits due to this threat. To uncover what's hidden in the fog, you'll need to unlock the One-Eyed Witch statue.

A new feature called the Hogwarts Diary has been introduced in the Halloween update. By completing various in-game activities, you'll solve puzzles that reveal artwork through magical inkwells, piecing together an overarching story.

Your journey begins with an invitation to join Madam Pince in the library, embarking on a quest to find the Lost Spore Scrolls. These scrolls, authored by Professor Phyllida Spore, a former Hogwarts headmistress, contain all the secrets about the school's magical fungi.
