Solving the Fountain of Confession Puzzle

Following the Sacred Wounds puzzle, Indy uses his scroll to locate the Fountain of Confession. Remember to photograph everything for Adventure Points!

Find the fountain using your in-game map. The entrance is in the courtyard.

First, retrieve the fountain key from the chest near the construction area. This unlocks the storage room.

Use your whip to reach the rooftop, then swing to the fountain's top. You'll find two dragon statues. Swing to the second statue and grab the claw to reveal a lever.

Manipulate the lever to rotate the statue, making it face the opposite dragon. Repeat on the other statue (its claw is missing).

The missing claw has fallen onto the scaffolding. Rappel down, triggering a cutscene with Gina Lombardi. After the cutscene, retrieve the claw.

Return to the statues, attach the claw, and rotate them to face each other. The fountain statue below will turn. Rappel down.

Use your whip to pull the fountain statue, revealing a gate blocked by three statues. A lever appears; Indy and Gina activate it together, revealing the first wall puzzle. (Remember to photograph the inscriptions for Adventure Points and clues!)

Puzzle 1: Position the larger male statue under the water bucket, activate the water mechanism, then push the statue to "baptize" the smaller statue. This clears the left statue.

Activate the lever again for Puzzle 2.

Puzzle 2: Manipulate the stone path layers using the handles to move the angel figure to the right side of the wall. This removes the remaining left statue.

Finally, push the center statue through the gate to open the spiral stairway.

Congratulations! You've solved the Fountain of Confession puzzle.
