Honkai: Star Rail's Version 2.7 update, titled "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn," launches on mobile devices December 4th. This update serves as the final chapter before the Astral Express journeys to the enigmatic Amphoreus, the Eternal Land, as hinted by Black Swan.

Final Preparations in Penacony

Version 2.7 concludes the Penacony storyline. The crew bids farewell, reconnecting with familiar faces and sharing poignant moments. A spectacular performance at the Grand Theater features the debut of two new characters: Sunday and Fugue.

Sunday, the former head of the Oak Family, aided by the mischievous Pepeshi, Wonweek, delivers a dazzling final act. As a 5-star Imaginary character, his Ultimate ability focuses on energy regeneration, bestowing the "Beatified" buff upon a teammate and their summon.

Fugue, previously known as Tingyun, makes a remarkable return after her near-fatal encounter in Version 1.2. Rescued by Madam Ruan Mei of the Genius Society, she emerges as a 5-star Fire character, excelling at shattering enemy Toughness with her fiery Ultimate, dealing significant Fire DMG.

New Features and Events

Version 2.7 introduces exciting Warp events featuring the return of General Jing Yuan (first half) and Firefly (second half).

A new addition to the Astral Express is the Party Car – a luxurious marble bar with a robotic bartender, offering a unique relaxation space.

The "Cosmic Home Décor Guide" event allows players to personalize their storage room using Express Funds earned from completing tasks, creating cozy areas such as a bedroom and bathroom.
