Infinity Nikki Delays V1.6 Launch After Community Feedback

After weeks of eager players seeking clarity, the development team behind Infinity Nikki has finally spoken out. If you’ve been playing, you know that Version 1.5 launched with more than a few issues—it felt rushed and incomplete. Now, the developers have acknowledged that they weren’t fully prepared for the release, which ultimately led to the decision to delay Version 1.6.

When Is the Update Releasing?
Version 1.5 officially dropped on April 28th, with Version 1.6 originally scheduled for June 4th. However, the update has now been rescheduled to June 12th. In the meantime, the current Bubble Season will be extended to fill the gap.

All related events such as Chase the Bubbles, Rainbow Album, and Where Are the Gifties? will remain active until June 12th. Retail experiences like Pear-Pal Selected/Store: Clothing, Heartfelt Gifts, and the Shake Up Bubble Jar! top-up campaign are also being prolonged until the new version launches. Weekly tasks like Starlit Pursuit, initially set for May 20th, will now debut in Version 1.6.

The development team has issued an official apology and admitted to performance challenges across platforms—including PlayStation. They’re currently optimizing gameplay systems and have reassured players that storylines such as Threads of Reunion haven’t been canceled, just postponed.

Beyond the Version 1.6 Delay – What Else Is Happening in Infinity Nikki?
Lately, the game has been plagued by bugs, malfunctioning quests, and co-op issues. As a form of restitution, the team is offering daily compensation from June 5th to June 12th: 120 Diamonds and 1 Crystal per day—available upon logging in.

Some players, however, view this as a last-ditch effort to retain engagement after the rocky rollout. Adding salt to the wound, promotional banners for new outfits began appearing almost immediately after the apology message was posted, sparking further frustration.
