Lunacy is the premium currency in Limbus Company, essential for acquiring new Identities and EGOs—the game's gacha system. To build your roster of unique character variants, maximizing your Lunacy is key.

Earning Lunacy in Limbus Company follows a familiar gacha pattern: abundant early game rewards gradually decrease as you progress.

How to Get Lunacy in Limbus Company

For new players, the main story is your best source. Each chapter yields approximately 390 Lunacy, with an additional 260 for completing missions with an EX rating. Achieving an EX rating for the first time on a mission also grants 40 bonus Lunacy, so aim for those extra objectives! First-time Luxcavation stage clears also reward Lunacy, but these are one-time bonuses.

Once the main story quests are completed, Lunacy acquisition slows. Your best strategies then become:

• Complete/EX clear event stages.
• Conquer Boosted Mirror Dungeons.
• Uptie Identities.
• Claim Battle Pass rewards.
• Make direct purchases.

Boosted Mirror Dungeons offer the most consistent Lunacy. You can tackle three per week, earning 750 Lunacy. Weekly resets occur every Wednesday. Be prepared—these dungeons are challenging, so bring your strongest Identities.

Events are another excellent source of Lunacy, but they're time-limited. Prioritize participating in events whenever possible. Remember to check all event rewards to avoid missing anything.

Uptiering your Sinners' Identities and EGOs (upgrading them) also yields Lunacy. Reaching Uptie Tier 3 grants 40 Lunacy per Identity/EGO. This is a long-term strategy, as it takes time to reach Uptie 3 with non-default Sinners. Focus on leveling up your characters and acquiring Threads to steadily Uptie your roster.

Finally, the game's Battle Pass offers various rewards, including Lunacy. While the free track provides some rewards, purchasing the premium pass unlocks all the rewards, including a larger amount of Lunacy.
