Marvel Duel Unveils Stats, Top Picks Revealed

Marvel Rivals' First Month Hero Data Unveiled: Jeff the Land Shark Reigns Supreme in Popularity, Mantis Dominates Win Rates

NetEase has released comprehensive player statistics for Marvel Rivals, revealing the most and least popular characters during the game's initial month. The data encompasses both Quickplay and Competitive modes across PC and console platforms.

The results highlight a clear favorite: Jeff the Land Shark, topping the charts as the most picked hero in Quickplay on both PC and console. However, popularity doesn't always translate to victory. Mantis, surprisingly, boasts the highest win rate across all game modes and platforms, exceeding 50% in both Quickplay (56%) and Competitive (55%). Other high-performing characters include Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock.

Competitive play saw different top picks based on platform: Cloak & Dagger reigned supreme on consoles, while Luna Snow dominated on PC.

Conversely, Storm, a Duelist character, struggled significantly, with abysmal pick rates of 1.66% in Quickplay and a mere 0.69% in Competitive. This low popularity is attributed to player feedback regarding her underwhelming damage and frustrating gameplay. However, hope remains for Storm players, as NetEase has announced substantial buffs for her in the upcoming Season 1, potentially altering her position on the leaderboard.

The release of Season 1 on January 10th, featuring the Fantastic Four, is expected to significantly impact these statistics, promising a shake-up in the Marvel Rivals meta.
