Marvel Rivals Season 1 unleashes new characters, maps, and modes, including a fresh challenge set rewarding players with freebies like a Thor skin. This guide focuses on triggering Recursive Destruction in Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown.

What is Recursive Destruction?

The "Blood Moon Over the Big Apple" challenge requires triggering Recursive Destruction. This involves destroying Dracula-influenced objects that then reappear in their original state. However, not all destructible objects work; only those highlighted in red when viewed through Chrono Vision.

Activating Chrono Vision

To identify these objects, utilize Chrono Vision. On PC, press "B"; on consoles, use the right D-pad button. Only red-highlighted objects trigger Recursive Destruction.

Triggering Recursive Destruction in Midtown

This challenge is exclusive to the Quick Match (Midtown) mode. Initially, no red-highlighted objects will be visible. Wait for the first checkpoint; two buildings will then appear, ready to trigger Recursive Destruction.

While engaging in combat, target these buildings. The reappearance might be missed in the action, but several hits should complete the challenge. If unsuccessful, simply replay the match. After completing this, focus on subsequent challenges featuring Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman.

Marvel Rivals is available now on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
