Assassin's Creed Mirage is one of the franchise's biggest games to date, boasting a deep progression system to match its expansive world. This guide details the maximum levels in Assassin's Creed Mirage and how the level cap functions.
Assassin's Creed Mirage revamps progression from previous entries. While skill unlocking heavily relies on the new Knowledge Ranks (explained later), traditional XP-based progression remains. Gaining XP unlocks higher-tier weapons, armor, and gear, enhancing Naoe and Yasuke's base stats.
Reaching Level 35 allows exploration of all Japanese provinces. However, the XP grind extends far beyond. While initially believed capped at 40, players can reach Level 60. Further increases are likely post-launch with the Claws of Awaji expansion.
Knowledge Rank, a significant progression update, operates separately from XP leveling. Knowledge Points, earned through open-world activities, advance this rank, unlocking new skills for Naoe and Yasuke. Mastery Points are still required to activate these skills.
Reaching Knowledge Rank 6 unlocks all initial skills. However, progression continues beyond this, unveiling a new Knowledge tree with passive skills to refine player builds.
Mastery, equivalent to skill points, unlocks skills across six Mastery trees per protagonist. Mastery Points are earned through various activities. While a theoretical limit exists, achieving it requires extensive gameplay. The Claws of Awaji expansion will likely introduce additional ways to earn Mastery Points.
Each Japanese province has a level requirement, with Kii initially requiring Level 35. As your XP level increases, some regions' levels scale accordingly. However, a late-game scaling floor exists from Level 40 onwards. From Level 42, the recommended level for each province remains two levels below your current XP level, maintaining challenge while rewarding dedicated players.
Assassin's Creed Mirage is available now on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
