Metaphor enthusiasts have something special to look forward to: the first chapter of the official Metaphor: ReFantazio manga is now available on the MANGA Plus website, completely free of charge. This project sees Atlus teaming up with the renowned manga publisher Shueisha, with the talented Japanese manga author Yōichi Amano (known for works like Akaboshi: Ibun Suikoden and Stealth Symphony) bringing the story to life through his illustrations.

The manga offers a fresh take on the video game's narrative, introducing creative changes to the storyline. The first chapter diverges from the game by omitting a key initial setting and introducing new events not seen in the game, while also reshaping existing ones, such as the protagonist's encounters with his allies. Notably, the manga confirms the protagonist's name as Will, aligning with the game's default name.
