Since the launch of *Star Trek: Discovery* in 2017, the franchise has continued to expand its universe with the recent addition of *Star Trek: Section 31* on Paramount+. While *Section 31* may not have met everyone's expectations, it still brought some memorable moments that stand alongside the best of *Star Trek*. From the highs of *Strange New Worlds* to the lows of *Section 31*, it's a perfect time for fans to voice their opinions and rank these modern era *Star Trek* series. Although *Section 31* is a movie, it's included here because it originally started as a series.

Now, you have the opportunity to create your own tier list and see how it stacks up against the IGN community. Do you believe *Strange New Worlds* deserves the top spot? Should *Discovery* be ranked higher than its current D grade? It's all up to you!

### Star Trek Series of the Modern Era

Personally, I found the third season of *Picard* to be exceptional, more than compensating for the shortcomings of the first two seasons, earning it an A in my book. *Prodigy* also holds a special place in my heart, as it's essentially the *Voyager* sequel I never knew I wanted, and I believe it deserves at least a B, if not higher.

You can view my tier list below and then explore how to watch *Star Trek* in order, get the latest updates on the *Star Trek* live-action comedy and *Starfleet Academy* series, and delve into what happened with *Star Trek 4*.
