"Monster Train, Similar to Slay the Spire, Now on Android"

Monster Train, the acclaimed roguelite deck-building game, has finally made its way to Android after its initial release on PC in 2020, followed by consoles and iOS in 2022. Often likened to Slay the Spire due to its genre and gameplay, Monster Train brings a unique twist to the mobile gaming scene.

What Does Monster Train Bring to Android?

Set aboard a train descending into the icy depths of hell, your mission in Monster Train is to safeguard the last burning pyre from celestial invaders. What sets Monster Train apart is its innovative use of three vertical lanes, challenging you to manage battles across multiple fronts simultaneously.

As you progress, you'll unlock a vast array of over 250 cards, spread across five distinct monster clans, each with its own unique playstyle. The ability to combine two clans at once adds a layer of strategic depth, allowing for diverse gameplay experiences. Furthermore, each clan offers ten levels of card upgrades, enhancing your deck as you delve deeper into the game. Champions, the game's most valuable players, can receive multiple upgrades, further bolstering your strategy.

The Android version of Monster Train is fully equipped with all the latest updates, including the Wild Mutations and Friends & Foes expansions. Wild Mutations introduces 35 new mutators and new difficulty settings, while Friends & Foes adds new champions, bosses, cards, and artifacts to the mix.

Additionally, the game features The Last Divinity DLC, which significantly enhances replay value by introducing the Wurmkin clan. To unlock them, players must reach Covenant level 1. This DLC also introduces the Pact Shards mechanic, providing powerful enhancements but culminating in a challenging final battle against 'The Last Divinity.'

Will You Try It Out?

Monster Train on Android is fully playable offline, even in airplane mode, ensuring you can enjoy the game anytime, anywhere. The full version is available for $10, with in-app purchases primarily for unlocking the complete game. Once purchased through your Google account, your progress seamlessly transfers across devices thanks to cloud saves. However, keep in mind that there is no controller support for the Android version. You can explore and download Monster Train on the Google Play Store.
