Mortal Kombat 11: Conan the Barbarian Gameplay Revealed

Mortal Kombat 1 has unveiled two consecutive character reveals. Yesterday's esports trailer offered a glimpse of the T-1000, but the Terminator isn't the next DLC fighter. Instead, Conan the Barbarian is arriving next week for premium edition owners, with today's release of his gameplay trailer.

The trailer showcases Conan as a powerful, heavy-hitting character. His attacks appear devastating, though his lack of agility and speed is apparent. This might be offset by his extended sword reach. It will be intriguing to see how he fares against characters like General Shao, Omni-Man, and Homelander.

While visually reminiscent of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Conan's fatality lacks the spectacular impact of some other MK1 finishers. His acid-drowning technique is somewhat underwhelming. However, gameplay is paramount, and Conan promises to be a fun addition to the roster.

Premium edition owners can play as Conan next Tuesday, while other players will need to wait until January 28th.
