The Nintendo Switch 2 already looks to be launching with a robust lineup of titles—both exclusive new releases and enhanced re-releases tailored for the upgraded hardware.
Big hitters like *Donkey Kong Bananza* ($69.99) and *Mario Kart World* ($79.99) are leading the charge and are currently available for preorder. Alongside them, remastered versions of *Breath of the Wild* and *Tears of the Kingdom* have been optimized for the new system.
New entries such as *Super Mario Party Jamboree*, *Kirby and the Forgotten Land*, and third-party additions like *Cyberpunk 2077* and *Sonic X Shadow Generations* are also available to preorder now.
Keep in mind that not all titles will be available on day one (June 5). Some, like *Donkey Kong Bananza*, won’t release until July 17. Major titles such as *Metroid Prime 4: Beyond* and *Pokémon Legends: Z-A* have yet to appear in any preorder listings, either for the original Switch or the Switch 2.
If you're looking to upgrade your setup, we’ve also covered available accessories. From the new Joy-Con 2 controllers to the Switch 2 Pro controller, camera add-ons, and more, there’s plenty to consider adding to your cart alongside your console.
Nintendo has quietly revealed the cost of upgrading several existing Switch titles to their Switch 2-compatible versions. While *The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild* and *Tears of the Kingdom* will only set you back $9.99 for an upgrade, others aren't quite as affordable.
According to reports from *Nintendo Life* and Eurogamer, the upgrades for both *Kirby and the Forgotten Land* and *Super Mario Party Jamboree* are significantly more expensive. Though exact U.S. pricing hasn’t been confirmed yet—possibly due to tariff-related delays—the UK eShop lists these upgrades at £16.99 / €19.99, which is more than double the previous rate.
