Nintendo has officially announced that pre-orders for the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 will commence in the U.S. on April 24, 2025. The console will maintain its originally announced price of $449.99 and will be launched on June 5, as previously scheduled.
The announcement was made via Nintendo's official website, where they also revealed that due to changes in market conditions, prices for Switch 2 accessories will see adjustments from those initially announced on April 2. Nintendo further cautioned that future adjustments to the pricing of any Nintendo product could occur, depending on market fluctuations.
In addition to keeping the base console price steady, Nintendo confirmed that the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle will remain priced at $499.99. The pricing for both the physical and digital editions of Mario Kart World, set at $79.99, and Donkey Kong Bananza, priced at $69.99, will also remain unchanged at launch.
