Nintendo Fans Rejoice: LEGO Game Boy Set Unveiled for October 2025

In a delightful twist, Nintendo has announced its latest collaboration with LEGO—a highly anticipated LEGO Game Boy set. This marks the second time a Nintendo console has received the LEGO treatment, following the successful launch of the NES LEGO set. While the excitement is palpable among fans, the announcement has also sparked curiosity and humor regarding the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.

LEGO Game Boy Set: Coming Soon in October 2025

The LEGO Game Boy set is set to launch in October 2025, and it’s already creating waves among both LEGO and Nintendo enthusiasts. Although details remain scarce, the announcement has generated plenty of buzz online. On Twitter (X), users are chiming in with humorous remarks, such as, “Thanks for finally revealing the new console,” while others joke about the possibility of a LEGO Switch 2 release preceding any official hardware announcements.

Despite the excitement, Nintendo has yet to confirm further details about the Switch 2. In a statement made by President Furukawa on May 7, 2024, he mentioned that an official announcement regarding the successor to the Nintendo Switch would be made within the current fiscal year, which concludes in March. Until then, fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for updates.

While the price of the LEGO Game Boy set remains undisclosed, more information is expected to surface in the coming weeks or months.

A Legacy of Collaborations Between LEGO and Nintendo

This isn’t the first time LEGO and Nintendo have teamed up to bring beloved franchises to life. Over the years, their collaborations have resulted in some of the most iconic sets, celebrating the rich history of Nintendo’s gaming universe.

One standout release was the “Great Deku Tree 2-in-1” LEGO set from The Legend of Zelda series. Featuring over 2,500 pieces, this intricate set captures the essence of the Great Deku Tree from both Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild. It also includes figures of Princess Zelda and the legendary Master Sword. Priced at $299.99 USD, it’s a must-have for any Zelda fan.

Not long after, LEGO introduced a new Super Mario set inspired by Super Mario World. This unique offering highlights Mario riding Yoshi, complete with a crank mechanism that animates Yoshi’s legs. Available for $129.99 USD, it offers a fresh take on the classic duo.

As the LEGO Game Boy set approaches, fans eagerly anticipate what other surprises lie ahead in this exciting partnership between two legendary brands. Stay tuned for more updates!
