Bethesda has exciting news for fans of the iconic adventurer: MachineGames' Indiana Jones and The Great Circle is set to launch on PlayStation 5 on April 15 for early access, with a global release following on April 17. Those eager to dive into the action can secure their spot by pre-ordering the game.

This PS5 release comes four months after the game's initial launch on Xbox and PC. Alongside this announcement, Bethesda released a playful promo trailer featuring a delightful crossover of two of the most renowned video game actors: Troy Baker, who voices Indiana Jones, and Nolan North, known for his role as Nathan Drake in the PlayStation-exclusive Uncharted series. The meeting of these two actors is a nod to the full circle moment for The Great Circle, given the inspiration drawn from Indiana Jones for the Uncharted series.

In an interesting twist, Microsoft-owned Bethesda has enlisted Nolan North, the voice behind Sony's Uncharted franchise, for this promotional video. While North avoids mentioning 'Nathan Drake' or 'Uncharted' directly, his performance is filled with knowing nods to his iconic character. In the trailer, North humorously suggests he broke into the opulent room where they're seated, hinting at the imminent arrival of goons—a common occurrence for Nathan Drake.

The banter continues as North questions Baker on how he plans to tackle Private Military Forces with just a whip. Baker, pointing to his head, starts to say, "use the old—" before North interjects with "headbutt," approving of the aggressive approach. North describes himself as "more of a sidearms kinda guy… jeans… henley," to which Baker quips about the shirt being "somehow always half-tucked."

The two actors share a moment over their mutual love for ancient artifacts, though with differing intentions: North's character would sell them to the highest bidder, while Baker's Indiana Jones aims to donate them to museums. This exchange symbolizes Nathan Drake welcoming Indiana Jones into an exclusive club of adventurers, with North declaring, "Welcome to the club." This signifies the harmonious coexistence of Xbox's Indiana Jones and PlayStation's Uncharted on Sony's console, as treasure-hunters in crime. The only thing missing is Lara Croft crashing through the window, quipping about not letting the boys have all the fun.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has already seen significant success, reaching 4 million players thanks to its day-one launch on Game Pass. The upcoming PS5 version is expected to further boost these numbers.

Harrison Ford, the legendary actor behind Indiana Jones, has praised Troy Baker's performance in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. In a conversation with The Wall Street Journal, Ford humorously remarked, "You don’t need artificial intelligence to steal my soul. You can already do it for nickels and dimes with good ideas and talent. He did a brilliant job, and it didn’t take AI to do it." Ford's endorsement underscores the high-quality performance and creative talent behind the game.
