Pokémon Pocket Blaster Unleashes Rare Blastoise Wonder Card

The Pokémon TCG Pocket app's Blastoise Wonder Pick event continues! Part two offers fresh cosmetic rewards, available until January 28th.

The in-game shop boasts new Blastoise-themed items: an icon, coin, card sleeves, and a blue Blastoise playmat. Event tickets, earned through gameplay and daily logins, can be exchanged for Shinedust. Remember, while the shop remains open until January 28th, ticket distribution ends January 22nd.

Following a holiday season brimming with free boosters and Pack Hourglasses, the event provides a welcome update for players. Many have completed the Mythical Island booster pack collection and eagerly anticipate the next expansion (rumored for late January). The confirmation that Pack Hourglasses are usable in future expansions has fueled player hoarding.

New Blastoise Wonder Pick Rewards:

The event's first phase (January 6th) introduced Squirtle and Charmander promo cards (unique artwork, same attacks as standard versions). These, along with a Blue and Blastoise backdrop and cover, remain available. New missions offer Event Shop Tickets for participating in Wonder Picks and collecting Fire/Water-type cards. These missions are cumulative across both event parts. Bonus Picks also award tickets. Daily logins are crucial for completing the collection, as these promo cards are reportedly non-tradable.
