Pokémon GO Unova Region Arrives in February 2025

Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and City Safari Events Announced!

Get ready, Pokémon GO Trainers! Two exciting events are on the horizon: Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and Pokémon GO City Safari.

Pokémon GO Tour: Unova (February 21-23, 2025)

This in-person event will take place simultaneously in Los Angeles, California (Rose Bowl Stadium) and New Taipei City, Taiwan (Metropolitan Park). Inspired by the Unova region from Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2, the event features themed habitats (Winter Caverns, Spring Soiree, Summer Vacations, and Autumn Masquerade) offering unique Unova Pokémon encounters. Shiny Deerling variations will appear based on habitat and time of day.

Event highlights include:

• Shiny Meloetta: Obtainable via Masterwork Research.
• Shiny Sigilyph, Bouffalant, and more: Available through egg hatching.
• Shiny Pikachu (unique hats): Encountered via Field Research.
• Five-Star Raids: Featuring Reshiram and Zekrom.
• Three-Star Raids: Featuring Druddigon.
• One-Star Raids: Featuring Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott (increased shiny rates).

Tickets are available now at a discounted price: $25 USD (Los Angeles) and $630 NT (New Taipei City). Add-on ticket options provide extra bonuses. The event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time (PST and GMT+8 respectively). Booths and team lounges will offer merchandise and relaxation areas.

A global version, Pokémon GO Tour: Unova - Global, will be held March 1-2 for free.

Pokémon GO City Safari (December 7-8, 2024)

This city-wide event will take place in Hong Kong and São Paulo, Brazil, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time. Join Professor Willow and Eevee to solve a Pokémon mystery!

Key features:

• Special Eevee: Receive an Eevee with an explorer hat at the start. Evolving it retains the hat.
• Eevee Explorers Expedition: Earn a second explorer hat Eevee.
• Special Pokémon: Galarian Slowpoke, Unown P, Clamperl, Oricorio (Pom-Pom and Sensu Styles), Swablu, Skiddo, and location-specific Pokémon.
• Free gifts: Pikachu or Eevee visor (while supplies last).

Tickets cost $10 USD (Hong Kong) and R$45 (São Paulo). Add-on tickets offer extra items and increased shiny encounter chances.
