February 2025 is packed with exciting events for *Pokémon GO* players, featuring celebrations like the Lunar New Year and a special Community Day for Karrablast & Shelmet. With the thrilling addition of Dynamax Moltres, here’s a detailed look at all the events scheduled for this month.

Lunar New Year Event: January 29 – February 2

The Lunar New Year 2025 event runs until February 2 at 08:00 PM local time, offering *Pokémon GO* players a festive way to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Marking the Year of the Snake, the event boosts the spawn rates of snake-themed Pokémon, including:

• Ekans (Shiny can be found)
• Onix (Shiny can be found)
• Snivy (Shiny can be found)
• Darumaka (Shiny can be found)
• Dunsparce (Shiny can be found)
• Gyarados (Shiny can be found)
• Dratini (Shiny can be found)

The event also includes bonuses like an increased chance of obtaining Lucky Pokémon through trades and becoming Lucky Friends with other Trainers. Additionally, participating in the Lunar New Year event grants daily Field Research tasks that reward free PokéCoins. The 2KM Egg pool during the event will hatch the following Pokémon:

Legendary Flight Dynamax Moltres Event: February 3 – 9

Between 06:00 PM and 07:00 PM on February 3, Moltres will be available as a Max Monday boss at all Power Spots. After this initial hour, Moltres will still be available to challenge until February 9, although it will appear at fewer Power Spots due to the presence of other Max Battle bosses like Squirtle, Krabby, and Sobble until February 10. Players might need to search a bit to find Moltres in their local area, but there's ample time to do so.

Karrablast & Shelmet Community Day: February 9

On February 9, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, *Pokémon GO* hosts a dual Community Day for Karrablast & Shelmet. This event offers players the opportunity to farm Candies for these Pokémon through increased encounters. Additionally, there are evolution bonuses and higher chances of encountering Shiny versions. Evolving Karrablast or Shelmet by February 16, 2025, at 10:00 PM will result in an Escavalier knowing Razor Shell or an Accelgor knowing Energy Ball, respectively. Beloved Buddies: February 11 – 15
