Reviver: First Butterfly sees the time-based narrative game finally arrive on iOS

Reviver: Butterfly is finally fluttering onto iOS and Android! Initially slated for a Winter 2024 release, the game's arrival has been slightly delayed, but the wait is almost over. Launching January 17th, Reviver will be available on both platforms under slightly different names: Reviver: Butterfly (iOS and Android) and Reviver: Premium (Android). Despite the name variations, both versions are essentially the same game.

For those unfamiliar, Reviver (as we previously reported in October) casts players as a subtle force of nature, subtly guiding the lives of two star-crossed lovers towards a happy ending. The unique aspect? You never directly interact with or even see the protagonists, yet your influence shapes their journey from youth to old age. While "wholesome" is subjective, Reviver offers a charming and intriguing premise.

The game's slightly unusual title, a common hurdle for indie mobile releases, caused a delay in its wider recognition. However, its impending arrival is excellent news! The iOS app store listing reveals a free prologue, allowing potential players to sample the gameplay before committing. Additionally, mobile users will gain access to Reviver before its official Steam launch. A delightful surprise for mobile gamers!
