Grand Theft Auto V is gearing up for a major PC upgrade as Rockstar rolls out its enhanced edition on Steam. After renaming the original version in the Rockstar Launcher, the studio has now mirrored this update on Steam.
Player libraries now display the classic version as "Grand Theft Auto V: Legacy Edition," while the upgraded version appears as "Grand Theft Auto V: Enhanced Edition."
Steam users can now preload the Enhanced Edition, requiring approximately 91.69 GB of available space. The next-gen upgrade, bringing console-quality enhancements to PC, launches on March 4.
Rockstar confirms both versions will remain accessible - players can continue enjoying the original GTA V and GTA Online or transition to the Enhanced Edition's upgraded visuals and performance.
