SD Gundam G Generation Eternal is set to open a network test in the new year for US players

SD Gundam G Generation Eternal isn't cancelled, despite the radio silence since 2022! A network test is on the horizon, opening the doors to US players for the first time.

1500 lucky participants will get early access, with applications now open until December 7th. The test runs from January 23rd to 28th, 2025.

For the uninitiated, SD Gundam G Generation Eternal is the latest strategy JRPG in the long-running franchise. Players command a massive roster of pilots and mecha from the Gundam universe in grid-based tactical battles. The sheer number of characters and mobile suits is legendary!

While Gundam's global popularity is undeniable, the SD Gundam line might be less familiar. "Super Deformed" refers to the smaller, stylized mecha models—once so popular they outshone the originals!

US Release on the Horizon

Gundam fans are sure to eagerly anticipate this new entry. However, Bandai Namco's track record with the series has been inconsistent, with some titles falling short or being prematurely cancelled. Let's hope SD Gundam G Generation Eternal bucks this trend and delivers a top-tier experience!
