The announcement from The Pokémon Company confirms the highly anticipated arrival of Shiny Pokémon, bringing a touch of brilliance to the digital card game.

When Are Shiny Pokémon Arriving in Pokémon TCG Pocket?

Mark your calendars for March 27th, 2025—the day when Shining Revelry hits the virtual shelves. This expansion isn’t just about adding flair; it’s packed with over 110 new cards, including dazzling Shiny versions of fan-favorite Pokémon such as Charizard ex, Lucario ex, and Pachirisu. One of the highlights is that these digital cards will shimmer when tilted, offering players a visual treat like never before.

Additionally, collectors can look forward to a Shiny Charizard-themed display board and binder, available starting April 1st. Alongside the Shinies, the expansion introduces Pokémon and Trainers from the latest Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games, including cards featuring Tatsugiri, Sprigatrito, and Iono.

Fans can also participate in new ex Starter Deck missions, running from March 28th to April 27th. Completing these missions will reward players with a deck ticket, which can be exchanged for one of nine exclusive starter decks. Ranked matches are officially making their debut in Pokémon TCG Pocket. The inaugural season begins on March 28th and wraps up on April 27th, allowing players to battle with Shining Revelry cards. Matchmaking will pair you with opponents of similar skill levels, ensuring fair competition. At the end of the season, players will earn an emblem to showcase their rank on their profile—a great way to flaunt your achievements.
