Sims Labs: EA's Novel Sims Game Lands on the Digital Storefront

A new Sims game is in the works, and it's available now in Australia! While not the Sims 5 many eagerly anticipate, The Sims Labs: Town Stories offers a taste of what's to come. This mobile simulation game, part of EA's Sims Labs initiative, serves as a testing ground for new gameplay mechanics and features.

Currently in playtesting, Town Stories blends classic Sims building with character-driven narratives. Players construct neighborhoods, guide residents on personal journeys, manage careers, and unravel Plumbrook's mysteries. Early reactions, however, have been mixed, with some expressing concern over the graphics and the potential for microtransactions.

Though not yet globally available, you can find the Google Play listing. Australian players can participate by signing up through EA's website. The gameplay, based on available footage, appears similar to earlier Sims titles, suggesting this is an experimental project that may evolve significantly.
