In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, sleeping is a vital mechanic that allows you to restore your health to 100% without relying heavily on food and potions. Here’s a comprehensive guide on where you can catch some much-needed rest in the game.
Once you're unleashed into the vast open world of *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, securing your own bed becomes a top priority. During the Wedding Crashers quest, you have the choice between following the blacksmith or the miller’s questline. No matter which path you take, either Radovan or Kreyzl will provide you with a bed to rest your weary head.
In my journey, I opted for Radovan, mainly because he’s based in Tachov, conveniently close to your starting point. Make your way to Tachov, engage in his questline, and after completing the smithing tutorial, you’ll gain access to a room adjacent to the forge where you can sleep.
This bed will be marked as yours on the world map, and you’ll also find an inventory chest in the room for storing your belongings. Whenever you need to heal up, simply return to this cozy spot for a restful night’s sleep.
There will be moments when returning to your bed isn't feasible. Fortunately, *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* is dotted with numerous campsites along roadsides and in forests. Be cautious, though; some campsites might be occupied by bandits, requiring you to clear them out before you can use the bedrolls. Others might be blissfully empty.
Once you find a campsite, it will be marked on your map, allowing you to interact with the bedrolls for a nap. While the comfort level of these makeshift beds won’t match that of a proper bed, they’ll still suffice for a quick rest.
In dire situations, you can also attempt to sleep in NPCs' beds, though be warned: getting caught might lead to them reporting you to the guards, unless you manage to smooth-talk your way out of trouble.
