Spider-Woman Joins Marvel Contest of Champions Amid Lumatrix Threat

Following the epic Dark Phoenix saga, Kabam has unleashed an exciting new update for Marvel Contest of Champions. This update introduces two thrilling additions to the game: Spider-Woman and the first Eidol Champion of 2025, Lumatrix. Players can dive into fresh quests, special events, and the latest chapter of Act 9.2, all while pursuing enticing rewards.

Spider-Woman will swing into action on April 17th, leveraging her spider-enhanced abilities and espionage skills in The Contest. Lumatrix, on the other hand, makes a dazzling entrance on April 9th. This assassin, crafted by The Founders, uses light manipulation powers to cloak a deadly intent. If you're eager to add Lumatrix to your team, you'll need to gather Light Essence from Battlegrounds, Saga Incursions, and Raids. The event for Lumatrix runs through June 4th.

The new Spy Games quest introduces a gripping narrative featuring Black Widow and Spider-Woman. Together, they delve into the mystery surrounding the Eidols' arrival, with Lumatrix's sinister light show at the center of it all. Expect twists and turns as these elite spies uncover the truth. This event is available from March 9th to May 7th.

Deadpool also jumps into the fray with the Red & Dead's Discount Shed event, running from April 25th to May 2nd. Convinced by Red Guardian, Deadpool offers a treasure trove of special rewards, including event currency, crystals, and bonuses. Following closely, the Heart of Fire Sale from May 7th to 14th gives players a chance to snag valuable Champions and rewards through Heart of Fire crystals.

Later this month, the Thunderbolts Daily Super Event, inspired by the Thunderbolts, will invigorate the seven-day supply drop from April 18th through May 2nd. Achieving milestones in this event grants Poolshields, which can be redeemed for rewards during Red & Dead's Discount Shed. Additionally, daily supply drops will be available from April 25th to May 23rd, encouraging regular logins for more free rewards.
