Week 2 of the Blast from the Past event in *The Sims 4* is well underway, engaging players in a thrilling quest to unravel the mystery. However, a seemingly simple task—studying a Historical Display—is proving to be a significant hurdle. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to study a Historical Display in *The Sims 4*.
One of the quests in Blast from the Past Week 2 requires you to study a Historical Display at a museum. If you're a seasoned *The Sims 4* player, you're likely familiar with the location of your local museum. For newcomers, open your map and look for a building marked with an icon featuring pillars. There are four default museums, but the most convenient ones to visit are Municipal Muses in Willow Creek and The Future’s Past in Oasis Springs, as they are near other tasks in the Blast from the Past event.
Upon arriving at a museum, enter the building to start your study session. In *The Sims 4*, both paintings and sculptures qualify as Historical Displays. Choose the one that catches your eye and click on it. You'll see an option to "View" the Historical Display, and a successful interaction will be confirmed by the Emit icon appearing on screen.
Despite the simplicity of this task, numerous players are encountering issues. It appears that certain mods are interfering with the "View" button, preventing the study of Historical Displays. Frustrated players are even removing all their mods to progress, though not always successfully. Hopefully, EA is working on a fix, but until then, your best bet is to attempt studying as many items as possible at various museums.
