RuneScape enthusiasts, gear up for an exciting adventure with the latest Dev’s Diary for April, introducing the thrilling new quest, "Return to the Desert: Pharaoh’s Folly." This quest is available from today until April 28th, and it's your chance to dive into the heart of the Kharidian desert, tackling the perilous Shifting Tombs and shaping the desert's destiny alongside Leela and Ozan.
The situation in the Kharidian desert is heating up as Menaphos descends into chaos. Following Osman's shocking betrayal of his own people, the city teeters on the brink of collapse. With the populace divided and the ominous presence of Amascut lurking in the shadows, the stakes couldn't be higher. Surviving the Shifting Tombs is merely the start of the challenges you'll face.
But fear not, you won't be navigating this treacherous terrain alone. Leela, along with new allies and even some adorable pets, will join you on your quest. Together, you'll delve into the ancient secrets of Menaphos, unraveling the mysteries behind Osman's true intentions.
Successfully completing Pharaoh’s Folly comes with some fantastic rewards. You'll earn Thieving and Agility XP, gain the prestigious title of The Rabble-Rouser, and receive a new bracelet known as Leela’s Favour. This bracelet is not just any accessory; it allows you to teleport across all the districts of Menaphos, the Sophanem slayer dungeon, the shifting tombs, and all active soul obelisks, making your journey through the desert more manageable and exciting.
However, this quest isn't for the faint-hearted or the inexperienced. You'll need a Slayer level of 87, must have completed the initial quest Beneath Scabaras’ Sands, and ticked off various milestones within the Do No Evil quest inside Phite Club. Additionally, ensure you've built the required structures from the Fort Forinthry storyline. Once you've met all these criteria, you're ready to meet Leela outside the gates of Menaphos and embark on a mission to save the city from the edge of ruin. So, if you're up to the challenge, grab RuneScape from the Google Play Store and return to the desert!
