The Horizons Celebration is back in *Pokémon GO*, and it’s bringing a wave of new content that trainers won’t want to miss. This time around, the spotlight shines bright on Tinkatink—and not just Tinkatink, but its full evolution line including Tinkatuff and the mighty Tinkaton. These adorable yet powerful Pokémon make their long-awaited debut during the event, which runs from April 16th through April 22nd.

Trainers will quickly notice those iconic hammers Tinkaton wields—more than just a stylish accessory, they’re part of what makes this final evolution unique. To evolve your own Tinkaton, you’ll need to gather Candy by catching and interacting with Tinkatink and Tinkatuff throughout the event week. A total of 125 Candies will be required to complete the evolution journey, so stay active and keep an eye out for spawns!

New Costumes and Paldea Region Pokémon

The celebration doesn’t stop there. Trainers may encounter Floragato wearing a special hat featuring Liko’s pin. This stylish variant appears in the wild, hatches from Eggs, and even shows up in Raid Battles. There's also a chance to find a Shiny version if Lady Luck is on your side.

Other notable appearances include Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat and Charcadet, both making their presence known across various game modes. Additionally, several fan-favorite Paldea region starters like Fuecoco, Sprigatito, Quaxly, and Pawmi are now wandering the wilds. For those who enjoy Egg hatching, 7 km Eggs might reveal Hatenna, Elekid, and even a rare chance at hatching a Tinkatink.

Don’t forget to take snapshots during the event—you never know when a surprise guest or Pokémon might photo-bomb your picture. Keep an eye out for familiar faces tied to the Horizons storyline appearing in your photos!

Battle Updates and Special Moves

For battle-ready trainers, Pikachu in Cap’s hat comes equipped with the powerful move Volt Tackle, giving it an electrifying edge in combat. The Raid Battle lineup features a strong roster including Charizard, Metagross, Alolan Muk, and multiple appearances from Floragato.

Team Go Rocket activity increases during the event, with more balloons appearing than usual. For those hunting Shinies or powering up their squads, Egg hatch distances are halved, Shiny encounter rates are boosted, and Stardust rewards are increased across the board.

Research Tasks and Exclusive Rewards

Field Research tasks will offer themed challenges tied to the Horizons Celebration, while both free and paid Timed Research tracks provide exclusive items such as a special avatar pose. Completing these research lines can help you earn extra in-game currency, XP, and even unique encounters.

Looking to stock up before the event kicks off? Consider purchasing the **Celebration Event Ultra Ticket Box** from the *Pokémon GO* Web Store for $4.99. This bundle includes Ultra Balls and other useful items to maximize your experience during the festivities.
