Infinity Nikki: A Comprehensive Guide to Ability Outfits

Infinity Nikki, the isekai open-world gacha RPG, plunges players into Miraland where the titular character, Nikki, uses magical Ability Outfits to overcome challenges. These outfits are unlocked via Sketches, requiring either crafting or gacha pulls. Basic Ability Outfits are unlocked through the Heart of Infinity skill tree, while premium outfits are exclusively obtained via Resonance Banners (the game's gacha system). Currently, there are 17 Ability Outfits.

Unlocking Ability Outfits

The following details each Ability Outfit, its unlock method, and any relevant banner information:

Floating Outfit

• Function: Briefly float after jumping. Activated by a long tap jump followed by another tap.
• Unlock:
  • Bubbly Voyage: Unlocked during the "Prologue: Embark on an Unknown Journey" mission (1 Whimstar required). Can be crafted using 8 Lampchili and 26 Thread of Purity. Evolves into Bubbly Voyage: Spring using 30,000 Bling, 100 Thread of Purity, and 7 Calm Thoughts, and duplicates of Bubbly Voyage clothing pieces.
  • Blooming Dreams: Obtained by collecting all 10 clothing pieces from the limited-time "Blooming Fantasy" Resonance Banner (December 5-18, 2024). Cannot be unlocked outside this banner. Evolves into Blooming Dreams: Tides and Glow (using Heartshine from the Deep Echoes banner) and Blooming Dreams: Phoenix (requires duplicates of all 10 Blooming Dreams pieces).

Purification Outfit

• Function: Purifies Dark Essence and Esselings. Activated by tapping/clicking to attack.
• Unlock:
  • Wind of Purity: Unlocked during "Prologue: Embark On an Unknown Journey" (2 Whimstars required). Can be crafted using 2 Buttoncone, 2 Daisy, 26 Thread of Purity, and 3 Woolfruit. Evolves into Wind of Purity: Dawn (using 30,000 Bling, 100 Thread of Purity, 7 Calm Thoughts, and duplicates of Wind of Purity pieces).
  • Crystal Poems: Obtained by collecting all 10 clothing pieces from the permanent "Distant Sea" banner. Evolves into Crystal Poems: Snow and Spring (using Heartshine from the Deep Echoes banner) and Crystal Poems: Blazing (requires duplicates of all 10 Crystal Poems pieces).

Animal Grooming Outfit

• Function: Groom animals for materials. Activated by approaching a creature and pressing the Ability button.
• Unlock:
  • Bye-Bye Dust: Unlocked during Chapter 1's Land of Wishes quest (2 Whimstars required). Can be crafted using 4 Daisy and 24 Thread of Purity. Evolves into Bye-Bye Dust: Kitty (using 30,000 Bling, 100 Thread of Purity, 7 Calm Thoughts, and duplicates of Bye-Bye Dust pieces).
  • Breezy Tea Time: Obtained by collecting all 10 clothing pieces from the permanent "Distant Sea" banner. Evolves into Breezy Tea Time: Siesta (requires duplicates of all 8 Breezy Tea Time pieces).

Fishing Outfit

• Function: Fish in bodies of water. Activated by finding bubbling spots, tapping the ability button, and following on-screen prompts.
• Unlock:
  • Rippling Serenity: Unlocked during Chapter 1’s "Unexplained Coma Incidents" quest (2 Whimstars required). Can be crafted using 5 Daisy, 1 Floof Yarn, 1 Foodie Bee, and 72 Thread of Purity. Evolves into Rippling Serenity: Dream (using 30,000 Bling, 100 Thread of Purity, 7 Calm Thoughts, and duplicates of Rippling Serenity pieces).
  • Shark Mirage: Obtained by collecting all 10 clothing pieces from the permanent "Distant Sea" banner. Evolves into Shark Mirage: Summer (requires duplicates of all 9 Shark Mirage pieces).

Bug Catching Outfit

• Function: Catch bugs and insects. Activated by approaching an insect and tapping the ability button.
• Unlock:
  • Afternoon Shine: Unlocked during Chapter 1’s "Accident at the Clothing Store" quest (2 Whimstars required). Can be crafted using 2 Daisy, 1 Floof Yarn, 1 Starlit Plum, and 30 Thread of Purity. Evolves into Afternoon Shine: Rain (using 30,000 Bling, 100 Thread of Purity, 7 Calm Thoughts, and duplicates of Afternoon Shine pieces).
  • Forest's Fluttering: Obtained by collecting all 10 clothing pieces from the permanent "Distant Sea" banner. Evolves into Forest’s Fluttering: Starry (requires duplicates of all 9 Forest’s Fluttering pieces).

Electrician Outfit

• Function: Fix electrical problems by solving grid puzzles.
• Unlock:
  • Fully Charged: Unlocked during Chapter 1’s "Power Outage Rescue" quest (2 Whimstars required). Can be crafted using 4 Daisy, 1 Floof Yarn, 1 Foodie Bee, 148 Thread of Purity, and 9000 Bling. Evolves into Fully Charged: Refreshing (using 30,000 Bling, 100 Thread of Purity, 7 Calm Thoughts, and duplicates of Fully Charged pieces).
  • Froggy Fashion: Obtained by collecting all 10 clothing pieces from the limited-time "Croaker’s Whisper" Resonance Banner (December 18-29, 2024). Cannot be unlocked outside this banner. Evolves into Froggy Fashion: Night (requires duplicates of all 10 Froggy Fashion pieces).

Floral Gliding Outfit

• Function: Glide from high places.
• Unlock:
  • Floral Memory: Unlocked during Chapter 3’s "Wish Collector’s Crisis" quest (1 Whimstar and 10,000 Bling required). Can be crafted using 1 Sunpetal Sheet, 2 Pearl Wings, 3 Foodie Bee, 3 Florascent Wool, 360 Thread of Purity, and 30,000 Bling. Violinist Outfit

• Function: Play music by following on-screen notes.
• Unlock:
  • Symphony of Strings: Unlocked during Chapter 4’s "Attention! Faewish Sprite Spotted" quest (2 Wishstars required). Can be crafted using 2.0kg Kerchief Fish, 4 Pearly Shell, 330 Thread of Purity, and 27,500 Bling. Evolves into Symphony of Strings: Woods (using 30,000 Bling, 100 Thread of Purity, 7 Calm Thoughts, and duplicates of Symphony of Strings pieces).

Shrinking Outfit

• Function: Shrink and ride Momo.
• Unlock:
  • Starlet Burst: Unlocked during Chapter 6’s "Encounter in the Woods" quest (2 Whimstars required). Can be crafted using 1 Elastic Gel, 4 Lampbloom, 4 Starlit Plum, 600 Thread of Purity, and 48,000 Bling. Evolves into Starlet Burst: Glow (using 30,000 Bling, 100 Thread of Purity, 7 Calm Thoughts, and duplicates of Starlet Burst pieces).

Whimsicality Outfit

• Function: Paint graffiti. Activated by tapping the ability button to perform the idle animation.
• Unlock:
  • Flowing Colors: Obtained by collecting all 10 clothing pieces from the limited-time "Butterfly Dream" Resonance Banner (December 5-18, 2024). Cannot be unlocked outside this banner. Evolves into Flowing Colors: Dreamy (requires duplicates of all 9 Flowing Colors pieces).

Stylish Outfits

Stylish Outfits, obtained from Kilo the Cadenceborn using Dews of Inspiration, are purely cosmetic and do not grant abilities, though they can be used for overworld traversal.
