Mobile game developer Mattel163 has launched an exciting update for three of its popular card games: Phase 10: World Tour, UNO! Mobile, and Skip-Bo Mobile. The new Beyond Colors update introduces colorblind-friendly decks, designed to enhance the gaming experience for players with color vision deficiencies.

The Beyond Colors feature incorporates specially crafted card decks that replace traditional color indicators with basic shapes such as squares, triangles, circles, and stars. This innovative approach makes it easier for colorblind individuals to distinguish between different card colors. For instance, a green card might be represented by a triangle, a blue card by a square, a red card by a circle, and a yellow card by a star.

To enable the Beyond Colors deck, players can simply tap their avatar in-game to access their account settings and select the new card theme under the card theme options. This update reflects Mattel163's commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, aiming to make their games more enjoyable for a broader audience.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, approximately 300 million people worldwide are affected by colorblindness. By introducing these new deck options, Mattel163 is actively working to remove barriers and make games like UNO! Mobile more accessible to everyone.
