Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 faces yet another delay, now set for a release in October 2025. Dive into the latest updates and the game's history of delays to understand what's happening behind the scenes.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2's release has been pushed back to October 2025, as announced by the game's official Twitter (X) account on March 26, accompanied by a video update.
In the video, Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann shared insights into the game's current development status. He stated, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases."
Paradox has been keeping the community engaged with Dev Diaries over the past few months, covering characters, stories, and mechanics. However, to prioritize the game's quality, all Dev Diaries will be paused, allowing the developers to focus on enhancing the game's overall experience.
Originally unveiled in March 2019, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was initially scheduled for a March 2020 release, developed by Hardsuit Labs. However, the game faced its first delay in October 2019, pushing the release to an unspecified date in 2020, and then further to 2021.
During this period, the project saw several key personnel departures. In February 2021, Paradox Interactive announced that Hardsuit Labs would no longer be involved, and The Chinese Room would take over development. The game's release was then anticipated for late 2024, later shifted to the first half of 2025, and now to late 2025.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is slated for release in October 2025 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Stay tuned for more updates by checking out our article below!
